Norma M. Eichholtz, 99, of Lititz, died peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Moravian Manor. Born in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late Allen F. and Elva Lehn Putt. Norma was the loving wife of the late Robert A. Eichholtz who died in November of 1972. She was a 1937 graduate of Lititz High School; and later received her nursing training at Preston Hospital. During World War II, Norma humbly served in the medical field for the WAVES. She was a life-long member of the American Legion Post 56, Lititz. Early in her life, she worked in the office for the Simplex Paper Box Company, Lancaster. Norma was a faithful member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lititz. In the early years, Norma helped to grow the Village Art Association of Lititz, and she enjoyed developing her own art talent through oil and watercolor painting.
Surviving is a daughter, Nancy wife of Glenn Badorf of Tequesta, FL., a son, Robert A. Eichholtz Jr. of Big Pine Key, FL., two grandchildren: Michael husband of Susan Badorf, Susan wife of Douglas Travis, and four great grandchildren: Steven, Leah, Brett and Paige. Preceding her in death is a brother, Dillon Putt.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Norma’s funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz, on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at 11;00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Lititz. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Norma’s memory to: Moravian Manor Retirement Community Benevolent Care Fund, 300 West Lemon Street, Lititz, PA 17543.
