Norma G. Kehrli, 92, of the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, and formerly of Tunkhannock, died peacefully on Monday, December 17, 2012. She was the widow of the late Edwin H. Kehrli, former Superintendent of the Wyoming County Schools, who died in 1973. Born in Factoryville, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Martha (Morgan) Gregory. She was a graduate of Mansfield University and attended Marywood College in Scranton. Norma was a former school teacher for the Lackawanna School District in Dalton, PA. She was a member of the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church where she was a former Choir leader and director of the Chancel Choir for 17 years, and during her years at the Masonic Village she was the Chancel Choir director at the John S. Sell Memorial Chapel. She was a member of the O.E.S Chapter 407 of Elizabethtown, and the Tunkhannock Women's Club where she was instrumental in starting the annual Tunkhannock Public Library shows. She is survived by a sister in-law Claire B. Gregory, wife of her late brother Harry E. Gregory; several nieces, Christine Bernes, Doreen Corry, Nancy Kettell, Sharon Parli, Susan Decker; and a nephew Harry E. Gregory, II; and many great nieces and nephews.
