Noah B. “Junior” Weaver, Jr., 65, of Manheim, peacefully went home to Jesus surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday May 10, 2018. He was the loving husband of Erma (Martin) Weaver, and they observed their 44th wedding anniversary in September of last year. Born in Ephrata, he is the son of Edna (Burkholder) Weaver of Manheim, and the late Noah B. Weaver. Junior was a truck driver for E.E. Shenk & Sons, Elizabethtown for nearly 50 years. He was a member of Rissers Mennonite Church, Elizabethtown. Junior enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, and family trips to Canada.
Surviving in addition to his wife, and mother, are four sons, Nevin L. married to Robin (Lapp), Manheim, Philip D. married to Jill (Koons), Marietta, Michael P. married to Emily (Sauder), Manheim, Duane A. married to Katrina (Hess) Manheim; 12 grandchildren Cade, Trent, Elli, Grady, Addis, Hannah, Noah, Olivia, Elijah, Logan, Kylie, and Alyssa; two brothers Lester married to Irene (Kurtz), Manheim, Linford married to Lynette (Zimmerman), Manheim, and four sisters Elaine married to Leonard Horning, Denver, Ruth Ann married to Phil Horst, Ephrata, Marie married to Mel Horst, Lititz, and Marion married to Norman Hahn, East Earl.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at Chiques Church of the Brethren, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim on Tuesday May 15, 2018 at 10:30 AM. There will be a viewing Monday evening at Chiques Church of the Brethren from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and also on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Rissers Mennonite Cemetery. Those desiring may send contributions in Junior’s memory to Rissers Mennonite Church, 8360 Elizabethtown Road, Elizabethtown PA 17022.
