Naomi Lehman Wolgemuth, 91, formerly of North Colebrook Road, Manheim passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg. Born in Rapho Township, she was the daughter of the late Irvin S. and Katie G. Lehman Wolgemuth. Retired in 1986, Naomi was an elementary school teacher for the Warwick School District. In her earlier years, she worked on the family farm in Rapho Township. She graduated from the Eastern Mennonite University. Naomi was a member of the former Mastersonville Brethren In Christ Church. She enjoyed quilting and gardening. Naomi and her mother Katie spread the love of Jesus Christ through planting flowers in the shapes of letters sharing the message along North Colebrook Road for over fifty years.
Surviving are four nephews and a niece, Jan M. Wolgemuth, Robert S. Wolgemuth, Gerald F. Wolgemuth, Doris W. Fredericksen and Dennis F. Wolgemuth. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin, Paul and Clarence Wolgemuth.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Mount Pleasant Brethren In Christ Church, 1756 Mount Pleasant Road, Mount Joy on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 10:30 AM. There will be a public viewing from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Interment in Mastersonville Brethren In Christ Cemetery.
