Nancy M. Engle, 85, of Manheim passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 25, 2015. Born in Cornwall, she was the daughter of the late John and Daisy Sweeny Leeper. She was the wife of the late Ernest R. Engle Sr. who died in 2004. Nancy graduated in 1947 from the former Cornwall High School. She retired as a seamstress at the former Noggles Garment Factory, Manheim. Nancy was a member of Hope Episcopal Church, Manheim. Her interests included cooking, flower gardening, collecting teddy bears and she loved to spend time with her family.
Surviving are three sons, Ernest Engle Jr. companion of Elsie Mutek of Manheim, William husband of Irene Zearfoss Engle of Lebanon, Gary husband of Donna Kline Engle of Manheim, two daughters, Vicki wife of Dennis Dundore of Annville, Kathy wife of Michael Dove of Myerstown, twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, four brothers, Thomas Leeper of Millersville, John “Jack” husband of Ivy Leeper of Kentucky, William Leeper of Elizabethtown, Carl husband of Bonnie Leeper of Ephrata and a sister, Alberta Kissinger of Lebanon. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Warren, Vernon, Claude and Larry Leeper and two sisters, Elizabeth Dissinger and Catherine Sunday.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Rapho Township.
