Nancy L. Miller

September 23, 1940 — December 25, 2010

Nancy L. Miller, 70, of Main Street, East Petersburg, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Hospice Of Lancaster County, Mount Joy.

Born in Landis Valley, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Anna V. Berger Hostetter. Nancy was the loving wife of Howard S. Miller and they observed their 50th wedding anniversary in July of this year. For over thirty years Nancy worked as an insurance agent and broker and owned and operated with her husband the former Howard S. Miller Insurance Agency in East Petersburg. Earlier in her life she worked in the office for the former Raymark Industries, Manheim. She was a charter member of the Bridge United Methodist Church Mount Joy; and was a member of the Gideons International Lancaster North Camp Auxiliary. Nancy traveled with her husband extensively throughout the world on hunting and fishing excursions they both enjoyed for many years.She had a passion for traveling and reading.

Surviving in addition to her husband, is a daughter, Kelly S. wife of Dennis L. Shelly of Manheim, a grandson, Justin A. Shelly, and a sister Mary Hostetter of Lancaster.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Ruhls United Methodist Church, 4810 Elizabethtown Road, Manheim, on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Ted McCabe and Pastor Rob Timlin Officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. There will be a viewing at the Ruhls United Methodist Church on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. I
