Nancy J. Hagens

Nancy J. Hagens, 77, of Manheim passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Little Britain Township, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Alice Hess Keefer. She was the loving wife of Marvin F. Hagens and they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in April. A homemaker, Nancy worked in her earlier years as a nurse’s aide at Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, Manheim and Lancashire Hall, Lancaster. She was a member of Faith Bible Church, Mount Joy. Her interests included, quilting, canning, cross-stitch, bird watching and she loved to spend time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband are four children, Tracy (Marlin) Winters of Manheim, Timothy (Evelyn) Hagens of Mount Joy, Alice Johnson of Wrightsville and Kevin Hagens of Waynesburg, 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two sisters, Doris Gouge of Lincoln University and Mary (Gene) Anderson of Peach Bottom. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Wayne Misal Jr., great grand-daughter, Hallie Sensenig and three brothers, Donald, James and Harry “Bub” Keefer.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Faith Bible Church, 2075 Harrisburg Avenue, Mount Joy on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM. There will be a viewing at the church on Friday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and again at the church on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Interment in Mt. Pleasant Brethren In Christ Cemetery, Mount Joy.
