Nancy A. Zimmerman

Nancy A. Zimmerman, 69, of Manheim passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Isaiah and Althea Amig McFarland. Earlier in her career, Nancy was employed by M&M Mars, Elizabethtown, Lancashire Hall as an LPN and later retired as a Registered Nurse from Lancaster General Hospital. She was a member of the Historic Manheim Preservation Foundation. Nancy enjoyed quilting, antiques, crafts and she loved to spend time with her beloved family and friends.

Surviving is a daughter, Gail L. wife of James M. Perry of Macon, Georgia, a son, Todd A. Zimmerman of Manheim, four grandchildren, Nichole, Arianna, James D. and Barbara, four great grandchildren, Azaria, Carl Jr., Ryan and Braelyn, six siblings, Wanda wife of Richard Kitterman of Grand Lake, Colorado, Barry I. husband of Joyce McFarland, Larry I. husband of Ruth McFarland, Derry J. husband of Judy McFarland, D. David husband of Anne McFarland and Holly G. Sigman wife of Dennis Loercher all of Manheim and several nieces and nephews. Nancy will be dearly missed by her loving friend, Jim Hosler of Manheim. Preceding her in death is a brother Jerry R. McFarland.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Nancy’s funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM. There will be a public viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be at Manheim Fairview Cemetery.
