Myrtle M. Monyer

Myrtle M. Monyer, formerly of Reading, who recently celebrated her 100th birthday, died Sunday May 2, 2010 at the Masonic Village Health Care Center, Elizabethtown, PA, where she was a resident since 1987.
She was the wife of the late Ephraim M. Monyer who died in 1957. Born in Topton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Amanda (Latshaw) Haas. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Reading. She was the owner and operator of Myrtles Beauty Shop in Reading for 45 years. Surviving are two nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 1:30 PM at Laureldale Cemetery, 4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading.
