Muriel M. Gamble, 95, of Lititz, and formerly of Haddon Heights, N.J., died on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Luther Acres Manor. Born in Burt, North Dakota, she was the daughter of the late Gurney M. and Nora Davis Musser. A homemaker, Muriel was the loving wife of the late Alexander “Scotty” Gamble who died in 2009. She was a member of the Barrington Women’s Club. Muriel enjoyed golfing, sewing, flower and vegetable gardening, cooking, and canning.
Surviving are two daughters: Alexis G. wife of William Fonner, of Abington, Gail G. wife of Robert Huff, of Mount Joy, a son; Scott A. Gamble companion of Cliff Kilb, of Harrisburg, four grandchildren; Eric husband of Alison Fonner, Megan wife of Michael Wentzel, Jennifer wife of Gary Dutson, Michael Huff husband of Stacy Fromhold; and three sisters; Velma Murphy, of Silver Springs, M.D., Grace wife of Alfred Edinger, of Millville, N.J., and Lucille Korman of Mechanicsburg. Preceding her in death is a sister, Jean Miller.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Muriel’s memorial service at Luther Acres Chapel, 600 East Main Street, Lititz, on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family in the Chapel on Saturday afternoon, November 10, 2018 from 12:30 PM until the time of service. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
