Miriam Y. Miller, 88, of Lancaster, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the loving wife of Eugene Miller. Born in West Willow she was the daughter of the late Charles L. Sr. and Marion (Yuninger) Dagen. Miriam was a graduate of Lampeter-Strasburg High School and was a homemaker most of her working life. She was a member of White Oak Church of the Brethren, Manheim. She enjoyed reading and loved cooking.
Surviving in addition to her husband Eugene are four sons, Kenneth Miller, Millersville, Jay Charles husband of Tanya Miller, Carlisle, Glenn husband of Bertha Miller, Mount Pleasant Mills, James L. husband of Brenda Miller, Crofton MD; a daughter F. Elaine Miller, Lancaster; fifteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at White Oak Church of the Brethren, 1211 N. Penryn Road, Manheim, on Thursday December 8, 2016 at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in Graybill’s Brethren Cemetery. There will be a public viewing Wednesday evening at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and again on Thursday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Miriam’s memory may be sent to White Oak Church of the Brethren, Benevolent Fund, 1211 N. Penryn Rd. Manheim PA 17545.
