Mildred M. Keller, 97, of Woodcrest Villa, Lancaster, died peacefully in the Emergency Room at the Lancaster General Hospital on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Born in Reading, but raised in Shillington, she was the daughter of the late Paul W. and Edna L. Umbenhaur Springer. A home maker, she was the loving wife of the late Charles L. Keller who died in October of 1999.
Surviving is a daughter, Charlotte L. wife of Thomas F. Kirchner, of Douglassville, three grandchildren: Chris Kirchner wife of Joseph O’Donnell of Cherry Hill, Connie wife of David Smith of Exeter Township, Andrew C. Keller, five great grandchildren: Alexandra, Christopher, Kieran, Colin, Luna, a daughter-in-law, Rosa Keller of Wrightsville, and a brother, Richard Springer of Shillington. Preceding her in death is a son, Gerald S. Keller who died last month, a sister, Gladys Folk, and a brother, James Springer.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service from Eagle Commons in Eagle Wing at Woodcrest Villa, 2001 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster, on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 12:30 PM. Interment will be in Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Sun Hill Road, Manheim, on Friday morning at 11:15 AM. Friends may visit with the family following the memorial service.
