Michael R. Lawler

     Michael R. Lawler, 69, of Lancaster, passed peacefully, Sunday, January 28, 2024.  Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of John B. and Catherine (Snowden) Lawler. He was also preceded in death by his brother and sister. Mike was a materials examiner and identifier leader at New Cumberland Army Depot before retiring in June 2018.  Mike was a big sports fan and cheered for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Orioles.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and his beloved four-legged companion, Katie.

     Surviving are his four children, Michael Jr. husband of Marcy Lawler of Harrisburg, Christopher husband of Jodi Lawler of Lewisberry, Kimberley Lawler and her partner Michael Lusaitis of Lancaster, John Lawler of Etters; along with 9 grandchildren, and a brother Thomas husband of Kristine Lawler of Algonquin, IL.

     Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his life remembrance service, at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 W. Main Street, Mount Joy on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 2:00 PM.  There will be a time of visitation with the family from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
