Michael Katchur

Michael Katchur, 74, formerly of Reading, died peacefully, Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Newport Meadows, Christiana PA.  He was the widower of Cheryl K. Marsden. wife of 5 years.  Born in Shenandoah, PA he was the son of the late Michael and Dorothy (Skasko) Katchur.  Mike was in automotive sales for various companies most of his life and enjoyed tinkering with cars since a young age.  He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Lititz.  You could usually find him fishing at his favorite spots where he enjoyed both freshwater fishing and especially salt water fishing at Myrtle Beach.  He also enjoyed woodworking and doing home repair with his family.

     Surviving are two sons Steven R Katchur and Michael S. Katchur; mother of the sons Barbara Katchur; a brother Walter Katchur; and a sister Dorothy “Dottie” Herbein.

     Services for Michael will be private at the convenience of the family.
