Michael D. Rohrer

Michael D. Rohrer, 30, of Manheim, died unexpectedly after a brief illness, Friday, July 10, 2015 at Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center, Lititz. Born in Waukegan, IL, he was the son of Dennis Rohrer of Kapolei, HI and Robin E. Rohrer of Manheim. Michael was a graduate of Hempfield High School-School to Work Center where he was valedictorian for his class of 2005. Michael was employed part-time at Darrenkamp’s Market, Mount Joy. He enjoyed bowling, playing UNO, and he enjoyed Star Trek and considered himself a “Trekkie”. He also was an active listener to “Adventures in Odyssey”.
Surviving in addition to his parents is a brother, Matthew Dennis Rohrer and a sister Amber Renee Rohrer, both at home and grandmother, Rose Tshudy of Manheim. He was preceded in death by a sister Crystal Marie Rohrer.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Thursday July 16, 2015 at 7:00 PM. There will be a public viewing on Thursday at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
