Merle H. LeFever

            Merle H. LeFever, 94, of Manheim died peacefully on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Pleasant View Communities, Manheim. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Lehman H. and Frances Horst LeFever. He was the loving husband of the late June D. Koehler LeFever who died in 2022. Merle retired after 21 years as a drafting instructor at the Mount Joy Vo-Tech School. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Jerusalem Church, Manheim. He enjoyed camping, and sailing on the Susquehanna River and Chesapeake Bay.

            Surviving is a son, Douglas husband of Dawn Lefever of Penryn, a daughter, Dawn wife of Scott Krady of Manheim, four grandchildren, Jere, Jenna, Eric and Jon, nine great grandchildren and a sister, Frances Leamon of Leola. He was preceded in death by a sister, Miriam Hilsher and three brothers, Harold, Titus and Jay LeFever.

            Funeral Services will be private.
