Melvia D. Neideigh

Melvia D. Neideigh, 79, of Mount Joy, moved into heaven on Thursday, December 14, 2023.  She was the loving wife of Galen R. Neideigh for 63 years. Born in Enid, OK, she was the daughter of the late William and Lois (Cooper) Hippensteel.  She was preceded in death by a brother Robert Hippensteel and a grandson, Brian. Melvia was an assembler for AMP, Inc. of Mount Joy, and was a member of the Church of God Landisville.  She enjoyed reading, playing the piano, singing, water aerobics, and baking for her family. She was devoted to her pets, BJ and Libby, who brought her much joy.

 Surviving in addition to her husband Galen are three daughters Cynthia wife of Ken Seiders, Elizabethtown, Gail Schwartz, Elizabethtown, Patricia wife of Steven Young, Quilcene, WA; a son Kevin Neideigh, Elizabethtown; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister Billie Bailey, Mount Joy, and a brother Michael Hippensteel, York.  Following Melvia’s wishes, there will be no services.
