Maybelle Groff

Maybelle May Groff, 87, formerly of East Petersburg passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Oak Leaf Manor, Landisville. Born in Rapho Township, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Annie Ulrich Christ. She was the wife of the late Wilmer G. Groff who died in 2007 and her first husband the late James Hockenberry Jr. who died in 1971. Maybelle retired from Kerr Glass, Lancaster. She enjoyed traveling and playing bingo.
Surviving is a son, James E. husband of Beverly Hockenberry of Creek Road, Manheim; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and one sister. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Hockenberry, seven sisters and one brother.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square, Manheim on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 10:30 AM. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
