Maureen E. Campbell

Maureen Evelyn (Doyle) Campbell, 94, of Levittown, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2017 at Signature Senior Living, Lititz, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John Lee Campbell, and her brother, Edward J. Doyle in 2014. Maureen was born in London, England on January 31, 1923 to Edward and Adelaide Doyle who relocated to Philadelphia in 1928.

Maureen attended The University of Pennsylvania, graduating cum laude in 1947 and served for 27 years as executive secretary to the VP of marketing for Thiokol Chemical Corporation, producer of solid rocket fuel for the NASA space program. Her heirs include daughters: Laureen Benn (Todd Nath) and Diane Shaffer (Joe), as well as her grandchildren: Michael, (Colleen) and Bradley (Amanda) Fender, Alison Majikas (Derek), Cassandra Holmes ( Paul) , Alexandra Roybal ( Sam), Lydia Benn, and her great grandchildren: John, Nicholas, Olivia, and Campbell Fender, Dean and Jed Majikas, Nina and Lucas Holmes, and Charlie Roybal.

Maureen was a member of Fallsington United Methodist Church and the AAUW (Association of American University Women). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 18th at Fallsington United Methodist Church, 50 La Cross Street, Fallsington, PA, at 11:00 AM.
