Matthew C. Hines, 30 of Norristown, passed into eternal rest unexpectedly on Friday, September 25, 2015. Formerly of Lititz, he was the son of Dennis L. Hines and Frances A. Ruggiano Hines.
Matt graduated from Warwick High School in 2004 and attended Temple University. He worked for Liberty Therapy Solutions in Norristown and had his own online internet marketing business. In earlier years he enjoyed being a server at numerous restaurants.
He earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2004 which was reflected in his kindness and compassion towards others. Matt had a radiant soul and a way of doing little things for his family and friends that showed them how much he cared for them. He shared a special relationship with his two aunts, Carolyn Ruggiano and the late Deanna Hines.
An avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed watching St. John’s University mens basketball games and playing fantasy football.
Matt will be greatly missed by his parents; a brother, Larry Ruggiano, Norristown; nephews, Austen and Gavin Ruggiano; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, his dog, Georgie and his many friends.
He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Douglas and Mildred Hines; maternal grandparents, John and Lillian Catania; and Lou and Anne Ruggiano who loved him as their grandson.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, September 30th from 7 to 9 PM and on Thursday, October 1st from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave., Lititz, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM with the Reverend James O’Blaney C.Ss.R officiating. Burial will be in Witness Park, 419 Pierson Rd., Lititz, PA.
