Maryanna L. Ebersole

Maryanna (Brooks) Ebersole, 67, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Masonic Village Hospice, Elizabethtown after a battle with cancer.

Born June 4, 1956 in Lancaster, PA she was the daughter of the late John Brooks and Doris (Betz) Brooks and wife of Tom Ebersole. Maryanna was preceded in death by her parents John and Doris (Betz) Brooks and by aunts Isabel (Brooks) Zimmerman, Mary Anna Brooks, Lavina (Brooks) Wrightstone, Goldie (Brooks) Risser, Sarah (Brooks) Carlisle, Pearl (Brooks) Bender, Bernice (Betz) Gepfer, Kay (Betz) Reinert, June (Betz) George and uncles Harper Brooks, Walter Brooks, Wayne Betz, Michael Betz Jr., Carl Betz, Donald Betz, Glenn Betz, Keith Betz, Gene Betz and Ernie Betz.

She retired from AMP Inc. in Elizabethtown after 25 years and relocated to Louisiana and State College, PA for several years before returning home to her beloved Elizabethtown. She loved visiting the ocean, enjoying her flower gardens, and treasuring her family. She was an avid fan of online word games, adored her cats and enjoyed hearing live music at the local vineyard.

Surviving are her husband Tom Ebersole, step-daughter Katherine Ebersole (Danny) of Tampa,FL, brothers Dave Brooks (Lynn) of Crofton, MD and Jeff Brooks (Lori) of Creedmoor, NC, cousin (sister in spirit) Ruby Sheetz (Rod) of Elizabethtown, aunt Phyllis (Bruce) Eckert of Elizabethtown and numerous beloved cousins.

Per Maryanna’s wishes, she was cremated and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Christ Church United Church located at 247 South Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Visitation is at 10:00 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM. All are invited.
