Mary I. Zimmerman

Mary I. Zimmerman, 91, of Manheim passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Pleasant View Communities. Born in North Annville Township, she was the daughter of the late Marlin M. and Carrie Sattazahn Fager. She was the wife of Lester R. Zimmerman and they would have observed their 73rd wedding anniversary this March. Mary volunteered for Meals on Wheels Manheim area and enjoyed going to a family cabin in Potter County. Her interests included sewing, crocheting, quilting, cooking, gardening and she loved spending time with her family.

 Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Lester R. Jr. husband of Brenda Zimmerman of Harrisburg, Ellen L. Zimmerman of Lancaster, Rita L. wife of Edwin Hershey of Lancaster, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother, William Fager of Lebanon, and a sister, Tina Humphrey of Mechanicsburg. She was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Mae Adams and a brother, Marlin Fager Jr.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
