Mary K. Witmer

            Mary K. Witmer, 98, of East Petersburg passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Born in Kleinfeltersville, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Belva Royer Knier. In 1942, she was a proud graduate of Manheim High School.  She was the loving wife of the late Homer E. Witmer who died in 1975. 

Surviving is a son, C. Barry Witmer of East Petersburg, a granddaughter, Christy K. wife of Daniel Rubinstein of Lancaster, two step grandsons, two great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Bruce E. Witmer and six siblings, Violet Wissler, Pearl Bard, Annie Pittinger, Gertrude McCue, Belva Shuman and Ralph Bashor.

            Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Mary’s Funeral Service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in Manheim Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Mary’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2595 Interstate Drive, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
