Mary Rose Colombo

Mary Rose Kowalinski Colombo, 77, of Gordonville passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born on January 31, 1940 in Queens, NY she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Rose Kowalinski. Mary was the wife of the late Charlie Colombo who died in 2008.

It is most difficult to put into words the magnitude and depth of Mary’s ability to spread laughter, love and kindness to everyone she met. She lived a life that was completely selfless, putting everyone’s needs before her own. She strongly believed in greeting everyone who crossed her path with a smile and enjoyed making people laugh.

Mary is survived by 3 daughters, Mary Rose Jacob of Lancaster, Laura Anne, married to David Kauffman of Peach Bottom, and Diane Marie Sicari-Moseman, Chicago, IL.
