Mary M. Showers

Mary M. Showers, 82, of Clay Road, Lititz, died peacefully on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Brethren Village where she had been a resident for many years. Born in Cumberland, MD she was the daughter of the late Orus M. and Evelyn Richter King. Mary was the wife of the late Wayne B. Showers. She worked in the housekeeping department at Brethren Village; previously she was employed at W. W. Moyer and Dutchmaid Clothing Company. Mary was a member of the Brunnerville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed puzzles and word search. Mary had a life-long passion for her family.

Surviving is a daughter, Rebecca wife of Harold Rogers of Reamstown, three grandsons: Harry, Kenny, Jonnie Rogers, and five great grandchildren. Preceding her in death is a sister, Maxine Johnson.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Brethren Village Chapel, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 10:30 AM. There will be a viewing at the chapel on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Brunnerville United Methodist Cemetery.
