Mary I. Armstrong

Mary I. Armstrong, 95, formerly of Manheim, died peacefully on Monday, August 23, 2010 at the Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim.
Born in Unicorn, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Edna Welchans Kinsey. Mary worked at the former Garvins Department Store, Lancaster, in her early years. She was the wife of the late Albert Armstrong. Mary was a member of Grace Community Fellowship of Manheim. She enjoyed crocheting and taking care of her many cats. Mary was passionate about her family; and spent time caring for her children and grandchildren throughout her life.
Surviving are two sons: Edward F. Armstrong of Mount Joy, Kenneth A. Armstrong of Lancaster, eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Preceding her in death is a brother, Harold Kinsey.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service from the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dennis Andrew officiating. Interment is in Boehms United Methodist Cemetery, Willow Street. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
