Mary E. Wolf Nixdorf, 88, of Manheim, died peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2013. Born in Milton Grove, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Myrtle Myers Beachler. Mary was the wife of the late Edgar Nixdorf and her first husband the late Charles Wolf who died in 1981. For over forty years she worked at the former Kegel’s Seafood Restaurant, Lancaster. Mary was a member of St. Luke United Church of Christ, Lancaster. Her interests included: gardening, bird watching, spending time with her family, and going four wheeling in the mountains with her Grandson.
Surviving is a daughter, Mary Lou wife of Robert C. Hess of Manheim, a step daughter, Cheri wife of Tim Wagner of Lancaster, one grandson, Gene husband of Dawn Hess, two step granddaughters: Michelle and Meredith, a brother, Donald Beachler of Lancaster, and a sister, Midge Shenk of Sporting Hill. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews who truly loved her. Preceding her in death is a brother Wesley Beachler and two sisters: Doris Kegel and Madeline Clark.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment is in Chiques Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Rapho Township.
