Mary B. Stauffer

Mary B. Stauffer, 87 of Marietta, formerly of Manheim, passed away on Thursday September 21, 2017 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Milton Grove she was the daughter of the late Milton and Margaret Derr Stauffer. Mary was the loving wife of Robert E. “Gene” Stauffer who died in 2006. She attended the Jerusalem Church, Penryn. In her earlier years Mary was an Auction “junkie” and enjoyed attending and having yard sales. She enjoyed cooking, canning and spending time with her beloved family.

Surviving is a daughter, Josephine L. wife of Richard L. Nye Sr. of Marietta, two sons, Ronald L. husband of Kathy Stauffer of Quentin, Robert E. Stauffer of Manheim, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, five brothers, Lester husband of Doris Stauffer of Mount Joy, Kenneth husband of Linda Stauffer of Clearfield, Merle husband of Lynn Stauffer of Ephrata, Marlin husband of Gail Stauffer, Leo Stauffer both of Elizabethtown, three sisters, Lois wife of Paul Fitzpatrick, Linda wife of James Seibert, Verna Haldeman, all of Elizabethtown, and a brother-in-law Kenneth husband of Verdella Stauffer of Manheim. Preceding her in death is a grandson, Derek Stauffer and two sisters, Shirley Deppen and Myrtle Elizabeth George.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Mary’s Funeral service at Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on September 29, 2017 at 2 PM. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home from 1 PM until the time of service. Interment will be at Ruhl’s United Methodist Cemetery.
