Mary A. Geib, 92, formerly of Penryn, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim. Born in Warwick Township, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Stella Boyd Kline. She was a 1940 graduate of the former Warwick High School. Mary was the loving wife of the late Amos H. Geib who died in 2003. She was a faithful member of Jerusalem Church, Penryn, and served with the Women’s Guild. Her interests included: crocheting, vegetable and flower gardening, and sewing. Mary had a life-long passion for her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving is a daughter, Janice E. wife of Eugene W. Saylor of Lititz, two grandchildren: Kelly Saylor, Nicole Eshleman, and three great grandchildren: Isaac, Morgan, and Cameron. Preceding her in death are two brothers: Lester and Carl Kline and a sister, Edna Kline Long.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Mary’s funeral service at the Jerusalem Church, 1620 Newport Road, Manheim, (In village of Penryn), on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 10:30 AM. There will be a viewing in the Hoffer Auditorium at Pleasant View Retirement Community, 544 North Penryn Road, Manheim, on Thursday evening from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM with additional viewing on Friday morning at church from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Graybill’s Brethren Cemetery, Elm.
