Marlene J. Martin

June 3, 1955 — March 16, 2016

Marlene J. Martin, 60, of Manheim, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Gap, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Ruth Engle Ressler. She was the loving wife of Earl L. Martin and they would have celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary in June. Marlene worked as an income tax preparer for Landis & Associates, Lancaster. She also worked part-time at the Gathering Place, Mount Joy. Marlene attended LCBC, Manheim Campus where she helped prepare meals for the worship team.

Surviving in addition to her husband are four children, Jody wife of Arthur Matz of Lebanon, Eric husband of Emily Martin of Powell, Wyoming, Brian husband of Nicole Martin of Mount Joy, Audrey wife of Adam Smerick of Lancaster, nine grandchildren and five brothers, James husband of Penny Ressler, Richard husband of Linda Ressler both of Wasilla, Alaska, Marlin husband of Sherri Ressler of Mount Joy, Ronald husband of Nancy Ressler of Manheim and Melvin husband of Michelle Ressler of Virginia.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service at LCBC Church, Manheim Campus, 2392 Mount Joy Road, Manheim on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Please use South Auditorium Entrance. Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service during a luncheon. Interment will be private in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Rapho Township.
