Mark L. Ginder, 54, of 68 South Linden Street Manheim died peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at the Lancaster General Hospital.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Rufus B. and Anna Murry Ginder of Manheim. Mark worked for Alcoa Lancaster Plant for over twenty-nine years. He also was employed with several area local building contractors as a block mason. Mark was the loving husband of Patricia F. Erwin Ginder and they observed their 35th wedding anniversary in October of last year. He attended Grace Church of Lititz. His interests included hunting, fishing, and traveling to the family cabin in Centre County. Marks passion in life was spending time with his family and friends and especially his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Steven husband of Kim Mullineaux Ginder of Lititz, a daughter, Erica K. wife of Jason Snavely of Manheim, four grandchildren: Madison and Hailey Ginder, Jacob and Luke Snavely, and three brothers: Karl husband of Patty Ginder of Manheim, Jay husband of Phyllis Ginder of Charlotte, N.C., and Denis Ginder of Mount Joy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service from the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square Manheim on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 10:30 AM. Interment is in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery Rapho Township. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM with additional viewing time on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
