Marjorie A. Vogle

Marjorie A. "Margie" Vogle, 65 of Mount Joy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. She was the wife of Gary L. "Pickle" Vogle and they celebrated 45 years of marriage in July 2013. Born in Middletown, Margie was the daughter of the late Henry and Alice (Hannaway) Cochran. She was a graduate of Middletown High School. Margie was employed in the Accounts Payable Department at the Public Utility Commission in Harrisburg for many years and then worked in the Medical Billing Department at Physicians Support in Mount Joy.

Margie's greatest joy in life was being Nanny to her grandchildren. Her other hobbies included gardening, camping, reading books about the Civil War and taking trips to Gettysburg, PA.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Melanie Kendig of Mount Joy and Shelby, wife to Kevin Moody of Gravel Ridge, AR; three grandchildren, Madison Kendig, Logan Moody and Emily Moody; a brother, John, husband to Lois Cochran of Middletown; and two sisters, Sallie, wife to Bob Evans of Middletown, and Bonnie, wife to Mel Meinsler of Glen Burnie, MD.
