Marilynn Y. Smart

Marilynn Y. Smart, 84, of Manheim went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Murray R. and Cora Shenberger Smart. Marilynn was a missionary teacher for twenty years with Philippines Missionary Fellowship. She graduated from Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, Illinois, former Slippery Rock State Teachers College with a BS in Education and she attended the former Millersville State College. Marilynn sold Avon in the Manheim area and she enjoyed sending Christmas cards, letters and phone calls to all her friends. She was the last of her immediate family. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 10:30 AM with Pastors Jeffrey Dunkle and Joe Hyatt officiating. Interment in Manheim Fairview Cemetery. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
