Marian P. Armstrong

Marian P. Armstrong, 76, of East Petersburg passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Essa Flory Hospice Center, Lancaster following a lengthy illness. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late John and Eva Bear Haldeman. She was the wife of Glenn L. Armstrong and they would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in June of this year. Retired in 1994, Marian worked at Datcon, East Petersburg. She graduated from Manheim Central High School. Marian was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Lancaster and volunteered at Matthew 25 Thrift Shop, Lititz until her illness. She enjoyed going to the beach in Delaware and she loved her pets, especially her cat, Chance.


Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Kevin G. Armstrong of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael J. Armstrong.
