Marguerite L. “Margie” Ditzler, 93, of Manheim and formerly of Lebanon passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Mount Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, Manheim. Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late George and Matilda Miller Donten. She was the wife of the late James S. “Chet” Ditzler who died in 1993. Margie retired as a seamstress at the former Manheim Garment Factory and Noggles Garment Factory. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Manheim. Margie enjoyed collecting and fixing jewelry. She loved to spend time with her family.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara L. Graybeal of Manheim and Dorothea D. wife of Donald Gochnauer of Landisville, a son, George J. husband of Eleatrice Ditzler of Leesburg, Florida, eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Donald Graybeal, two grandchildren, Barbara and Paul Hammer, nine sisters and two brothers.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Penn Township. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
