Margot Ream, 86, of Elizabethtown, died peacefully, Thursday March 13, 2025 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. She was the widow of the late Floyd L. Ream, Jr. who died in 1987, and mother to the late Roberta Ann Ream who died in 2018, and sister to her late brother Bernhard Ebenau. Born in Wiesbaden, Germany she was the daughter of Karl F. and Matilda (Jost) Ebenau. Margot was a retired Buyer/Manager for Floral Creations in Lancaster and Mount Joy for 21 years. After Floral Creations closed, Margot opened her own business called “Margot’s Place” creating silk flower arrangements, working tirelessly until her 80th birthday. Margot was a member of the Unity of Palmyra Church. She enjoyed crocheting, and traveling, 3 times to China & Hong Kong, and to over 40 states. She is survived by a sister Marianne Schwan of Wiesbaden, Germany; a niece Gaby wife of Stephan Bauer, Wiesbaden, Germany; and close friends in Elizabethtown.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service at the Unity of Palmyra Church, 37 E. Main Street, Palmyra, on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Parking available at the Palmyra Church of the Brethren, 45 N. chestnut Street, Palmyra. There will be a time of visitation at the church from 10:00 Am until the time of the service. Interment will be private in Ream-Reddig Cemetery, Reamstown. Contributions in Margot’s memory may be sent to Unity of Palmyra Church at the above address.
