Margaret M. Engle, 93, of Manheim, died peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the Mount Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, Manheim. Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Charles Mitchel and Mary Donbach Miller. A homemaker, she was the loving wife of the late Roger L. Engle who died in July of 2010. Margaret was an active and faithful member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Manheim, where she participated in the Episcopal Church Women. She and her husband were members of the Lebanon Friendship Fire House. Her interests included: cooking, camping, and spending her summers at the beach.
Surviving is a son, James R. husband of Karen Engle of Manheim, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandson. Preceding her in death is a daughter, Judith Findley and one brother.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 90 South Charlotte Street, Manheim, on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Rapho Township. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
