Margaret K. Peg Young, 89, formerly of White Oak; died Monday, December 14, 2009 at the Pleasant View Retirement Community Manheim.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Charles Kulp.
Peg worked as a sewing supervisor for the former Donegal Industries, Mount Joy before retiring in 1980. She also served as District Justice in the Manheim area. Peg was the wife of the late Elmer Nip Young. She was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Manheim; and was one of the first volunteers at Pleasant View Retirement Community. Her interests included rug hooking and traveling with her husband to visit Chincoteague and Assateague Island near Ocean City Maryland. Surviving is a son, Samuel Pete husband of Carol Young, of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service in the Hoffer Auditorium at Pleasant View Retirement Community 544 North Penryn Road Manheim on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family in the Hoffer Auditorium on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
