Margaret Harsh Bomberger, 87, of Lititz, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, H. Richard Bomberger; two daughters, Ann L., wife of Richard E. Watson of Lititz, and Virginia L., wife of Glenn W. Brubaker of Manheim; a son, Gregory R. husband of Susan Wonder Bomberger of Lititz; four granddaughters, two grandsons, a sister, Mary Ellen, wife of Miller Coleman of Terre Hill; and two nephews.
Margaret was the daughter of the late George H. and Mary Bower Harsh. She graduated from Upper Leacock High School in 1940 and from Millersville University with a degree in Library Science in 1944. After college, she worked as a librarian at Upper Leacock High School in Leola and as a secretary for Sensenig Corporation, Lititz.
Margaret was a member of the Lititz Moravian Congregation since 1947. She was active in the Goodwill Sunday School class and served with the Sacristans and Dieners of the Congregation.
Margaret enjoyed genealogy, reading, local history, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service from the Lititz Moravian Church, 8 Church Square, Lititz , on Friday, May 21, 2010, at 11:30 AM. There will be a viewing in the Eschbach Parlor at the church on Friday morning from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Margarets memory to the Book of Remembrance of the Lititz Moravian Congregation, 8 Church Square, Lititz, PA 17543.
