Margaret Ann "Peg" Olson

Margaret Ann “Peg” Olson, 78, formerly of Country Place, Lancaster, died peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at St. Anne’s Retirement Community, Columbia. Born in Dannemora, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Celeste Ryan Kennedy. Peg was the loving wife of the late Carroll A. Olson who died in 1987. A Registered Nurse, Peg worked in a Physician’s Office in Lancaster in her early years. Through the years Peg loved to play golf and participated in golf leagues at Overlook Golf Course. She also enjoyed traveling.

Surviving is a daughter, Ann Jenkins of Nashville, TN., two sons: Chris S. Olson of Carlton, OR; Carroll Olson Jr. husband of Cecelia Eichmiller, of Philadelphia, two sisters, Nancy Smith of Lancaster, Mary wife of James Moshier of Delmar, N. Y; seven grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death is a son, Patrick Olson and a brother, Timothy Kennedy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Peg’s memorial service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 11:00AM. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
