Margaret A. “Peg” Ibach, 83, of Akron, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy. Born in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late Irvin and Katie Weaver Stormfeltz. She was the wife of the late P. Richard Ibach, who passed away in 2010.
She attended Lititz High School and was a server at the Lewis Family Restaurant in Rohrerstown before her retirement in 1994.
Formerly of Quarryville, Peg served as the clerk of the election board for 20 years and was an Eden Township committee woman. She was a member of Mt. Eden Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she was involved in Women of the Church and she was a Girl Scout leader in New Providence.
Peg and her husband traveled extensively throughout the US, Canada and Mexico and in recent years she traveled to visit her family. She found great enjoyment in spending time with her friends and the coffee klatch at Green Acres.
She is survived by her two daughters, Ann and Beverly; six grandchildren; two great granddaughters and one great great granddaughter. She is preceded in death by a son, P. Richard Ibach Jr.; and her siblings, Mary Allison, Ethel Barto, John and Walter Barto and George and C. Sidney Stormfeltz.
