Mae U. Kline, 89, of Lititz, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the Pleasant View Retirement Community, following a brief illness. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Katie Nauman Ulrich. Mae was the loving wife of Paul B. Kline and they observed their 69th wedding anniversary in April of this year. Mae loved cooking; she worked in the food service department for Luther Acres for 32 years, some of those years as head cook. She enjoyed collecting dolls, gardening, traveling, and attending tractor shows with her husband. Throughout her life she had a passion for animals and she especially loved her cats.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Paul, are two sons: Ron husband of Florence Bixler Kline, Jeffrey husband of Alvina Holland Kline, two daughters: Nancy wife of Wade Hall, Carol wife of Ken Weaver, all of Lititz, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two sisters: Grace wife of Russell Yost, Esther Watts, and a sister-in-law, Minerva Ulrich all of Lititz. Preceding her in death are two brothers: Martin and Roy Ulrich, and a step brother, Clarence Nauman.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Mae’s funeral service in the Hoffer Auditorium at Pleasant View Retirement Community, 544 North Penryn Road, Manheim, on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family in the Hoffer Auditorium on Wednesday morning from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Brickerville.
