Mabel H. Ruhl

Mabel H. Ruhl, 94, was born in the Pine Hill area of Lititz, and resided with her daughter in Manheim for the past 30 years; died peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. She was the daughter of the late Elmer V. and Priscilla H. Eckert Good. In her early years Mabel worked on her parent’s farm in Lititz; she later was employed at the Bedford Shoe Factory and then Sauder’s Egg Company, Lititz. Mabel was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Manheim, and also attended LCBC Church “Manheim Campus” for the past eight years. Mabel loved to spend time with her Havanese rescue dog named, “Sassy”.

Surviving are two daughters: Marlene D. wife of Gary W. Hartman of Manheim, Sylvia J. wife of Joseph G. Cramer of New Holland, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandson, a brother Vernon husband of Nancy Good of Westfield, PA., and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is a grandson, Shan D. Yorty, two sisters: Grace Good, Laura Dull, and two brothers: Harry and Ray Good.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Lititz.
