M. Ivy Daugherty

September 24, 1946 — August 21, 2018

M. Ivy Daugherty, 71, of Manheim, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.
Born in Raleigh, NC, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and M. Dixie Seagroves Everest. She was the loving wife of Raymond F. “Ray” Daugherty and they would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary this month. Ivy was a member of Jerusalem Church, Penryn. In her earlier years, she volunteered at several schools in the Mt. Airy, MD area both public and Christian. Ivy loved to spend time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two children, R. Patrick husband of Jessica Daugherty of Lititz and Susan E. wife of Timothy Hays of Mt. Airy, MD, and their daughter-in-love, Diane Daugherty; six grandchildren, Jessie, Tylr, Nathan, Emily, Taylor, Autumn, two great grandchildren, Asher and Lily and five step grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Jerusalem Church, 1620 Newport Road, Manheim (In the Village of Penryn) on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Friday evening from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM and again following the service at the church on Saturday.
