Louise Billips Collins, 85, of Manheim passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015 at
Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born in Jenkinjones, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Blaine and America Nunley Farmer. She was the wife of the late J.D. Billips who died in 1980 and her second husband the late Arthur Collins who died in 2002. In her earlier years, Louise worked as a seamstress at the former Colebrook-Terry, Colebrook. An accomplished seamstress and blue ribbon cook, Louise also enjoyed reading and gardening. She loved to spend time with her family and she always had a beautiful smile.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara wife of William Gibson of Quarryville, Shirley wife of James Brubaker of Manheim, two sons, Larry Billips of Lancaster, Tom Billips and companion, Donna Moyer of Manheim, six grandchildren, Doug, Lisa, Lori, Rick, Erica and Lee, five great grandchildren, brother, Lacy husband of Eula Farmer of Orlando, Florida, sister, Eva wife of Jack Catron of Abbs Valley, Virginia and several nieces and nephews. She was also survived by a loving friend, Richard Knight of Manheim. Louise was preceded in death by four siblings, Willard and Garland Farmer, Pauline Pennington and Hilda Schwartz.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a public viewing at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Friday evening, September 4, 2015 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Interment will be private in Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Penn Township.
