Lloyd E. Tome, 83, of Elizabethtown, and formerly of Lititz and Mount Joy, died Wednesday June 16, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Marie (Rider) Tome of Elizabethtown. Born in Lancaster he was the son of the late Lloyd, Sr. and Minnie E. (Reisinger) Tome. He was a Navy veteran of WW II, and a member of Pentacostal Assembly of God of Palmyra. He enjoyed to hunt, fish, and watch baseball. Lloyd was a former truck driver for Rohrers Quarry of Lititz.
Surviving in addition to his wife Marie are two daughters, Ann Kiscaden of McSherrystown, Doris Arlene Riley of Philadelphia; a stepdaughter Jane wife of Robert Barnes of Bainbridge; and three grandchildren Frank Riley, Jr., Gwendolyn Borham, and Matthew Kiscaden. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers James R. and J. Harold Tome, and a sister Jean Elizabeth Doll.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Heilig Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy PA on Monday June 21, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be in Camp Hill Cemetery, Mount Joy. There will be a public viewing on Monday at Heilig Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
