Lisa Ann Pottgeiser, 46, of Elizabethtown, died peacefully surrounded by her family, at her residence on Saturday, March 30, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of Edward P. Pottgeiser, and loving mother to Kalyssa A. and Matthew E. Pottgeiser. Born in Silver Spring, MD, she is the daughter of Patrick and Joyce (Wilmot) Hogenmiller, Everett, PA. Lisa was a graduate of Northern Bedford High School, and received her B.S. in Nursing at Penn State University. Lisa was a nurse manager in the Health Care facility at Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, and most recently worked in the admissions department.
Lisa was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time around the pool with friends and family. Being an involved mother, she enjoyed attending family sporting events and relaxing on vacation with her family.
Surviving in addition to her husband, children, and parents, are mother-in-law Karen Fedor, South Park, PA, two sisters Amanda K. Holsinger, New Port Richey, FL and Laura Saville, Pittsburgh, PA, brother John T. Hogenmiller, Bedford, PA, and 5 nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service, in the Brossman Ball Room, Freemason Cultural Center, Masonic Village, Elizabethtown PA on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 4:00 PM. Interment will be in Mt. Tunnel cemetery, Elizabethtown. There will be a time of viewing and visitation for friends with the family at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St., Mount Joy, on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM, and again on Thursday in the Brossman Ball Room from 3:00 PM until the time of the service.
