Linda L. Landis, 68, of Lititz, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at her residence. Born in Lancaster, she is the daughter of Betty (Mort) Strickler of Manheim and the late Glenn D. Strickler. Linda was the loving wife of Lowell L. Landis, and they would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary July 1, 2016 . Linda and her husband Lowell owned the DDL Farm in Manheim Twp. Where they owned and showed Belgium Draft Horses. Linda was also a self-employed hairdresser/cosmetologist, and had been employed at Landis Homes before retiring in 2008. She was a faithful member and former choir member of Hempfield Church of the Brethren, East Petersburg. She was also a member of the Farm Women’s Society. Her hobbies included ceramics and antique auctions.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother is a son Michael, husband of Christine Landis of Newmanstown. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn D. Strickler, Jr.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service at the Hempfield Church of the Brethren, corner of Stevens Street and Metzler Road, East Petersburg, on Saturday February 13, 2016 at 12noon. Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service at the church. Interment in Manheim Fairview Cemetery will be private.
