Linda L. Kurtz, 83, formerly of Red Lion, died peacefully on Tuesday November 14, 2017 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born in Wrightsville, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Henrietta Greenawalt. Linda had worked in quality control at the former McCrory Distribution Center of York. She was a member of the “Red Hat Society” and “Flossie’s Floozies”. Linda greatly enjoyed going to the beach with her sister Kay and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer K. Eaton and her boyfriend Mac Seavey, Gaithersburg MD, Cynthia wife of Greg Fortney, Felton PA; a son Jeffrey L. husband of Janie Kurtz, Boyertown; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister Kay wife of Patrick Duffy, Lancaster, brothers, Michael Greenawalt, Elizabethtown, Thomas husband of Beth Greenawalt, Rick husband of Sherri Greenawalt, Timothy husband of Deb Greenawalt, and Daniel Greenawalt, all of Lancaster; and a sister in-law Karen Greenawalt, Canton, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a step-mother Elizabeth Greenawalt, a brother Harry Greenawalt and brother-in-law Benjamin Bowman.
Linda’s family would like to greatly thank the staff of the Masonic Village for their attentive loving care during her time there.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service on Saturday December 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the John S. Sell Memorial Chapel, on the grounds of Masonic Village. There will be a time of visitation with the family immediately following the service.
