Linda J. Christman

Linda J. Christman, 77, of Manchester Township, York, passed away Saturday May 25, 2024 at Normandie Ridge.  She was the wife of Brian B. Christman, Jr.  with whom she celebrated her 46^th wedding anniversary on May 20.

Born February 12, 1947, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late M. Robert Ogle and Mildred M. (Hudson) Hess.  She earned her undergraduate degree from Juniata College and her master’s degree from Millersville University.  She had worked as a Special Education teacher for York City School District.  

Linda enjoyed reading, boating, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends at the couple’s vacation home in Kentmore Park on the Upper Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by a daughter, Lauren Weldon, and her husband Brad, of Exton; a son, Adam Kraut, and his wife Jessica, of York; two granddaughters, Nora Weldon of Exton, and Sinclaire Kraut of York; and a brother, Robert W. Ogle, and his wife Jennifer of ­­Alburtis.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara J. Coy.
